Recipe of Colcannon

  • 6 potatoes cut into desired size
  • 1000 ml water depends on the size of the pot
  • 2 tbsp salt


  • 70 g butter
  • 300 g kale or cabbage chopped
  • 30 g green onion chopped
  • 200 ml milk


  • Free salt
  • Free pepper
  • 4 g butter


  • Put the potatoes, water, and salt in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and boil for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Or until a fork pierces it.
    When finished boiling, drain.
  • Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    Add the kale. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
    Add green onions. Cook for 1 minute.
    Add the milk. Mix well.
    Add the potatoes. Reduce heat to low.
    Mix well, mashing the potatoes.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
    Serve in bowls.
    Put the butter in the center.
