What kind of dish is this?

This is a simple and delicious Argentinean dish.
It is a dish made from fried potatoes, eggs, ham, etc. Not only Latin America, which is the origin of potatoes, but similar dishes are found all over the world.

Name

Revuelto de Gramajo=Gramajo scramble eggs

History

It is a dish that is said to have been created around 1900 by a person called Gramajo.
There are various theories about Gramajo.
・Colonel Gramajo made this with leftovers. It was given this name when it was provided to the troops.
・A playboy called Gramajo ate this for breakfast.
・A rancher named Gramajo came home from the party and made and ate it before going to bed. etc…
The details are unknown, but since it is the name of the dish, Mr. Gramajo may be involved in the birth or spread of this dish.

Supplement

The origin of potatoes is around Lake Titicaca in Latin America, which is the same as Argentina.
In 1629, there is a record that indigenous peoples from Argentina and Chile “sent fries and stew potatoes.”
This dish only cooks fries, meat, vegetables and eggs together, and it is possible that similar dishes have existed for quite some time.

Thoughts

Well easy.
Of course it’s delicious.
You can’t say that these ingredients are not delicious.
Basically, I can’t calm down without eating rice.
But this dish was satisfied with this alone.
